A new scheme of time stepping for solving the dynamic viscoelastic problems are presented.By expanding variables at a discretised time interval,FEM based recurrent formulae are derived. A self-adaptive algorithm for different sizes of time steps can be carried out to improve computing accuracy.Numerical validation shows satisfactory performance.
